Yet these great Rivers, the Danube, Nieper, Niester, [[Phasis]], Corax, Sangarius, and many others discharge their floods into it. It is in length from East to West about one hundred eighty eight Leagues: In breadth, at the Western End, from the Bosphorus Thracius to the Nieper, three Degrees: at the Eastern, the half thereof. And is dangerous to navigate: Not so green, nor clear, nor brackish as the Ocean, by reason of the Influx of those Rivers.
