Albania, a Province of Turkey in Europe, which was antiently the Western part of Macedonia, and part of Illyrium, upon the Adriatique Ocean; reduced under the Dominion of the Turks by Mahomet 2. Its chief Cities are Croia, Durazzo, &c. The Inhabitants for the most part are Christians of the Greek Church.
