Cachan, a Town of Persia in the Province of Yerak, 22 Leagues from Ispahan towards Kom. There are two Market-places called Bazars, and several Caravansera's built with Brick. In this Town is made the best and richest striped Silk; that is in Persia and here are above 1000 Jewish Families, who pretend to be descended from the Tribe of Juda; as do also those of Ispahan and Kom.
